IT PAINS... (Poem)

IT PAINS……………

Leaves and flowers fall away
Days will go away
She will fade away
From the pages of my memory
Like withred Xeranthemem,
The one that never fades.

We walked along the shades
Of life, calling each other
Lots of nicknames.
The trails of remembrance
Will never be united again.
She will be reduced to
One or two cards,
Some neatly scribbled
Letters, and a Diary Milk
Wrapper, which was given
On a wet April day,
When we walked past the Junction,
Went to the fast-food,
Ate Shavarma,
And went to church,
With a pure heart,
Pure as two doves.

The Crucifix laughed at me;
At my soul companion too..
The candles were brighter then,
And the church bells proclaimed
Some unknown wisdom.

The rivers will never alter
Its milky ways; neither
The sun its revolution.
Time will pass untouched
By the grief that I wear
In the dark corner of my soul,
The secret and sacred corner
That I reserved for her.

And it pains a lot
When I touch that Black-bond
Bible with my hand
It smells Holy
Blood…..
